CINGHS Principal's Weekly Message

Greetings CINGHS Families,

What an incredible week we had at our Team & Culture Building Field Experience at the YMCA! Students rotated through stations of ziplining, the Big Swing, rock wall climbing, archery, and team building. It was inspiring to watch them give it their all and encourage each other throughout the day. A huge shout-out to our parents for the snack donations—honestly, I don’t know how we would have made it through the day without your generosity. Thank you for stepping up to support our students!

We have also reached an important academic milestone. The first six-week grading period ended Friday, September 19, and report cards will be sent home with your student this week. Please take some time to review these with your child and celebrate their successes while encouraging growth where needed.

I would also like to share a critical and urgent situation that directly impacts our school budget. As you are aware, CINGHS offers free breakfast and lunch to all students. However, when students choose not to take a meal, the school actually incurs a loss. I understand that this may feel wasteful, but I must ask that every student go through the line and take a tray, whether they plan to eat it or not. Your cooperation will help us maintain our funding and continue to offer valuable programs for our students.

Upcoming Events:

  • Thursday, October 3: NHS Induction Ceremony

  • Thursday, October 24: Fall Festival

  • Thursday, October 31: Family BBQ

Thank you for your continued support. With your partnership, we are building a strong culture, celebrating our students’ achievements, and ensuring our school remains a place where every child can succeed.

Warm regards,
Steven Zipkes
