CINGHS Principal's Weekly Message

Principal’s Message

Greetings CINGHS Families,

Our Team & Culture Building Field Experience at the YMCA was a huge success! Students and staff had a terrific time rotating through ziplining, the Big Swing, rock wall climbing, archery, and team-building stations. Students gave it their all, supported one another, and strengthened their house connections. Many of our students have been with Cedars since kindergarten, and this experience highlighted the growth and pride in the schools they call home.

A special thank you to our parents for the generous snack donations. We honestly could not have made it through the day without your support.

The first six weeks grading period ended Friday, September 19, and report cards were handed out on Thursday, September 25. Please review your student’s progress and reach out to teachers if additional support is needed.

I also need to share an urgent matter that affects our school budget. Because all students receive free breakfast and lunch, participation is critical. When students do not take a meal, the school actually loses funding. I know this may feel unusual, but please remind your student to go through the line and take a tray—even if they don’t plan to eat it. Another student may want or need it, and your student’s participation helps us protect valuable funding that supports everyone.
