CINGHS Principal's Updated Message

Dear Cedars Families,

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Fall Festival last Friday night! From the looks of it, everyone had a wonderful time. It was such a joy to see families, students, and staff celebrating together. Your energy and support made the evening a great success! Thank you to all the Parent and Student Volunteers for helping to make this year's Fall Festival so great.

We’re keeping that community spirit going with a couple of exciting upcoming events:

We have some exciting opportunities coming up to connect, celebrate, and learn together!

Family BBQ — Friday, October 31, 12:00–2:00 PM
Join us for our annual Cedars Family BBQ! We’ll be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, watermelon, and all the trimmings. It’s the perfect time to relax, meet other CINGHS families, and share the rich cultures that make our community so special. Bring your appetite, your family, and your Cedars spirit. We can’t wait to see you there!

Family Dinner & Learning Night — Thursday, November 6, 6:30–8:00 PM
We’re also excited to invite you to a FREE DINNER and learning event just for Cedars families!

Cedars High School Cafeteria
Hosted in partnership with Family Connectors and Nobility in Action, this evening will explore The Scientific Pursuit of Happiness — a research-based workshop focused on practical ways to boost well-being. You’ll even learn a new recipe during a live cooking demo!

Bonus: Free childcare for children in grades K–5, provided by our student service clubs.
Sessions often include book and resource giveaways, so don’t miss this enriching night!

Please RSVP to help us plan for dinner and materials: [RSVP HERE]

We look forward to seeing you at both of these wonderful events — celebrating community, connection, and growth together!

Warmly,

Steven Zipkes
