Move over, grown-ups — our first graders are officially open for business! 😄
Our 1st graders turned into mini entrepreneurs with their Winter Market—and it was snow much fun! ⛄💰 This hands-on PBL experience helped students learn all about being vendors, buyers, and sellers while showing off their creativity and teamwork. As part of their Project-Based Learning, students learned all about buyers, sellers, saving, and needs vs. wants — and then proved they really get it by creating a REAL market!
And let’s talk about the shops! We had a barber shop 💈, greeting shop 💌, nail salon 💅, spa 🧖♀️, hot chocolate & cookie stand ☕🍪, sticker shop ⭐—and so many more!
The best part? Students researched, planned, worked together, and confidently shared their ideas — all while having a blast. 👏
