About Us

Cedars International Academy Schools is a Project-Based Learning, tuition-free, public charter school district for students of all ability levels, including accelerated academic programs to match student readiness. Our curriculum, designed to be both engaging and challenging, is fully aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and is delivered by dedicated professionals. Our small teacher-to-student ratio allows us to focus on each student as an individual, ensuring a personalized learning experience. With an emphasis on academics and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) through Project-Based Learning focused curriculum, we provide our students with diverse and dynamic learning experiences, including instruction in art, music, foreign language, and culture, technology, and physical education. Middle and High School athletics teams participate in the Texas Charter School Athletics League in Volleyball, Basketball, Flag Football, and Soccer. A variety of after-school activities offer additional opportunities for social development and experiential learning in a fun and creative environment. We offer a free breakfast and lunch program for all students.

Our Mission Statement: Cedars International Academy Schools are committed to providing all students with rigorous learning and personalized relationships within a safe community, to ensure their success as responsible, globally-conscious citizens.

Our Vision: The Cedars International Academy Community prepares students to excel in a rapidly changing and competitive world. We are committed to leading educational reform. Our Project-based learning instructional program encourages students to learn through collaboration with peers, businesses, and the community. Students develop problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, and the resiliency they need to be lifelong learners and productive members of society.
