Payroll Schedule

Cedars International Academy strives to ensure everyone's paychecks are correct.  However, it is the employee's responsibility to ensure all work and leave time have been reported in TimeClock prior to the end of the pay period. Pay Periods can be found on the Master Payroll Schedule.

An Explanation of Payroll Deductions

It is the employee’s responsibility to check their paycheck stub, which can be found by logging into WebSmart under MyPortal to verify accuracy.  New employees should be aware that any benefit deductions not deducted on their first paycheck will be double-billed on their second paycheck.

3. TRS Care (for retirees) is a separate and distinct program from TRS-ActiveCare (for working school employees).

1. Is TRS considered a 401k?   No. TRS is a defined benefit plan, with retirement benefits determined by a pre-established formula. The plan is administered as a qualified governmental retirement plan under the provisions of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, Section 401(a).
